I believe anyone can plan their own wedding as good or better than I can. I also know it takes alot of time, energy and stress and if you don’t know what you are doing, really doing, then it can cost you more money than it should and you could end up with vendors that you wish you didn’t have.
Some wedding industry vendors can take advantage of newly engaged couples – preying on their hopes and fears – doubling prices the moment you mention the ‘W’ word!
I think the journey to plan your own wedding is important and I am forever trying to involve my couples as much as possible because it can be fun and exciting and special…and lets face it, the wedding day itself goes by so quickly, that I think it’s important to have fun and treasured memories of planning your wedding.
Bells n Whistles now offer a consulting service that can help you in all the ways you need and want. It’s the best of both worlds – you plan your own wedding and you are very hands on – but you have a wedding professional guiding and advising you every step of the way.
Jennifer, the Wedding Planner
It’s a one off fee, inclusive of unlimited hours, advise, supplier referrals, styling ideas – anything and everything you need to make your wedding planning easier. The cost is easily offset by the amount of money we can save you while you plan your wonderful day.
For $2,000 you get a wedding professional to call, text, email or meet face-to-face regarding any element of your wedding day from how to select the right supplier for your wedding day to how to negotiate a good deal (and save lots of money). We offer advise on how to do things, how not to do things and alternative ideas to help bring your wedding in within budget.
Where we can help, we will. If putting in a phone call to a supplier to get you a better deal is on the cards – then consider it done!
Other planners can charge up to $450 per hour for the very same service but we just don’t feel that is reasonable, nor is it a good deal for you!
